As I’ve said before, these people (our government) are totally out of control.

A License Required for your HOUSE?

Thinking about selling your house? Take a look at H.R. 2454 (Cap and Trade bill), that has

passed the House of Representatives and is now being considered by the Senate.

Home owners take note & tell your friends and relatives who are home owners!

Beginning 1 year after enactment of the Cap and Trade Act, you won't be able to sell your home
unless you retrofit it to comply with the energy and water efficiency standards of this Act.

H.R. 2454, the "Cap & Trade" bill will be the largest tax increase any of us has ever experienced.

The Congressional Budget Office (supposedly non-partisan) estimates that in just a few years the
average cost to every family of four will be $6,800 per year. No one is excluded.

A year from now you quite literally won't be able to sell your house.

The caveat is this - if you have enough money to make required major upgrades to your home,

only then can you sell it. If not, then forget it. Even pre-fabricated homes ("mobile homes") are included.
In effect, this bill prevents you from selling your home without the permission of the EPA administrator.

To get this permission, you will have to have the energy efficiency of your home measured. Cost $200 to
start. Then the government will tell you what your new energy efficiency requirement is and you
will be forced to make modifications to your home under the retrofit provisions of this Act to
comply with the new energy and water efficiency requirements, which easily could cost over $50,000.

Then you will have to get your home measured again and get a license
(called a "label" in the Act) that must be posted on your property to show what your efficiency
rating is; sort of like the Energy Star efficiency rating label on your refrigerator or air
conditioner. If you don't get a high enough rating, you can't sell.

And, the EPA administrator is authorized to raise the standards every year, even above the
automatic energy efficiency increases built into the Act.

The EPA administrator, appointed by the President, will run the Cap & Trade program (AKA
the "American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009") and is authorized to make any future changes
to the regulations and standards he/she alone determines to be in the government's best interest.

Requirements are set low initially so the bill will pass Congress; then the Administrator can set
much tougher new standards every year.

The Act itself contains annual required increases in energy efficiency for private and commercial
residences and buildings. However, the EPA administrator can set higher standards at any time. Sect.
202 Building Retrofit Program mandates a national retrofit program to increase the energy
efficiency of all existing homes across America.

The label will be like a license for your car. You will be required to post the label in a
conspicuous location in your home and will not be allowed to sell your home without having this
label. And, just like your car license, you will probably be required to get a new label every so
often - maybe every year.

The government estimates the cost of measuring the energy efficiency of your home should only cost
about $200 each time. Remember what they said about the auto smog inspections when they first
started: that in California it would only cost $15.

That was when the program started. Now the cost is about $50 for the inspection and certificate; a
333% increase. Expect the same from the home labeling program.

Worlds Collide

Sorry for no recent updates, I've playing been playing Star Trek Online and that has been taking much of my very rare time to myself. If you play and you see my ship around, give me a hail.

Global Warming?

While for many parts of the country, 45 degrees is not very cold, in Florida in March is a different story. I'm originally from Jersey so it's no biggie but if you saw the fucking people down here you think it was a Siberian camp. Fucking orange farmers crying looking for a handout form Purple Lips, of course they wanna join the club. People wearing scarves and gloves. Weather Girl talking a mile a minute. Fucking kids look like Eskimos. Just silly. My wife's friend from Iowa said it was 42 degrees there today also and everyone was out in shorts and bikes and shit. Fucking Purple Lips pissing me off again. Cancels the Moon Program.

Born in 1967 my early years were all about the Apollo Program, I drank Tang, wanted a space pen, and was born and bred on Star Trek. Probably one of the factors that led me to serve in the USAF. Apart form all the advance this program could bring, I'm not sure how this will affect or delay future space tourism, but it certainly won't help. I was hoping that in my twilight years there would be an affordable senior citizen tour or even low-g retirement homes with some mean hydroponic space-kush and a strip club .

So, sadly, the following will remain the last words spoken on the moon for quite some time...

Taxes to Taxes

Since I've been broke due to crappy recession bonuses this year I have to file my tax return ASAP, to get my own money back, to pay my property taxes. What fucking vicious circle. Since I don't trust people, because most them are gross, I use Turbotax. Sacopapa did scare me a bit this week with his government conspiracy rant against Turbotax, but I'd rather risk Stormtroopers at my house rather than trust a South Florida accountant. Plus Sacopapa believes every conspiracy in the book anyway.

So hopefully this efile shit works quickly so I can turn around and pay my property taxes before I get a visit from the Broward Sheriff. Plus now with Obama being all defiant, it surely seems I won't be getting my beloved stimulus check again in 2010. Shit sucks. I am the Robotman.

Thursday Monkey Wrench

LMAO!!! Republican Scott Brown's victory Tuesday in a Senate special election in Massachusetts blindsided President Obama and Democratic leaders, who had nearly reached the finish line on an ambitious overhaul of the nation's health-care system and were beginning to turn their attention to other challenges, namely creating jobs and lowering the deficit. Yeah right, more like dishing out more cash to stupid companies so they can fill their pockets with our hard earned cash. Fucking thieves is what they are.

Here is a perfect example of the Health Care Reform Bill. If you are a nurse and paid 140K for your education, Mr Purple lip is going to make sure you get minimum wage so you can work to pay off your education bill by the time you are 100. Fucked situation for anyone trying to make a decent way of life.

If this bill is passed it would fill their pockets with more cash then you can ever imagine. Obama added to the confusion Wednesday when he seemed to endorse one option: having both the House and the Senate start from scratch, by voting on a scaled-back package of popular provisions that would crack down on insurance companies but provide health coverage to far fewer additional people. Yup, you heard it here, him and his boys are a bunch of fucking clowns trying to reinvent the wheel. Scott’s victory has really thrown a monkey wrench in their plans. After riding a wave of success and support for two years, Democrats have realized in recent weeks that 2010 will be a far more difficult slog. You and I know this bill will not pass but until Hitler goes down, we are still fucked with him till 2012.

These clowns need to be kicked out of white House soon.

It came out that Harry Reid, who is currently robbing us blind and recently outed racist piece of shit, had some remarks about Obama in 2008, here is the quote:

He now apologizes:

Welfare Christmas

The lastest on the government owned, bailed out, and bankrupt GM corporation is that they are closing yet another brand, Saab. Buy Ford. If the bailouts (corporate welfare) weren't bad enough, new welfare handouts were passed disguised as the jobs bill and the seemingly soon to pass mind-boggling Welfare, ah I mean Health Care Reform bill. So now not only must my son owe thousands in student loans while others go to college free on my dime, now he may be forced to buy health insurance or be fined, while the "grant" kid gets healthcare on my dime. Shit is fucked. Hard work and earning your way is the toilet paper Obama and his cronies are wiping their asses with. If you can't afford college, tough shit, work hard so your kids can go to college. That's how it use to work. As a war veteran and son of US loving hard working immigrant parents I am disgusted. Land of the free and home of the free loaders. Fucked up. With welfare fraud and abuse out of control, to add more layers is preposterous and irresponsible. I remember as a little kid walking home form school cause my parents where working while free lunch kid's dad picked him up in a Cadillac. It's Jimmy Carter all over again.

Judging Sarah

My wife was yapping about how Sarah Palin* was on Oprah today. Look, I know she's kind of kooky and one of those annoying PTA moms that won't shut up, but she really got a media beating while his majesty got a free ride. The truth is she is almost as unqualified as Obama to be Vice-President much less President, but at least is tappable. It was always Obama vs. Bush or Obama vs. Palin, avoiding McCain. Our chance to put a real moderate in the White House gone for who knows how many decades. Truly sad. Regardless of the questionable choice of the McCain camp as Palin as runningmate, I think he would have lost the election as the sheep had already flocked to Obama's Welfare Nipple. At minimum, I would hope that McCain at least got a blowjob from Sarah. It's really the least she can do. In closing, here are the Sex Pistols with a song for the Queen of Alaska....

If the Health Care plan wasn't bad enough, now they found a way to raise taxes on honest hard workers and small businesses without passing legislation to raise taxes. Congratulations Ford!

Using no bailout money Ford shows profits and helps stockmarket. Good old caplitalism with good management. It only show again what a travesty the bailouts and nationalization of GM is. Sacopapa and I have always been big fans of Ford as we copped many buds and had great adventures in his '67 Mustang back in the day. Just say no to GM and Chrysler. Below, a great commercial.

Today in 1862, one of our greatest presidents, Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, ending slavery in the USA. We have come a long way, and now even have a black president. Regardless if you like him or not, it is good that race was not a factor. But is it still a factor in politics and the media?
