3000 for the King of New York

The King of New York. As he seals his place in Yankee history and the MLB Hall of Fame this afternoon reaching 3000 career hits. It has been incredible to see this guys career from the start. Old school ball player. Of course Derek Jeter is also immediately accepted into the Robotman Hall of Fame for this herculean feat, and if that wasn't enough, just looked a t the stable of hoes he has banged.

Yankee Tuesday

With all the Superbowl hoopla, I'm late on this one but still want to mention Andy Pettitte's retirement. I think he could have still helped the Yankee rotation this year and the Houston stint kinda sucked but he came through many, many times and I consider him a true Yankee. A five-time champion. Who can forget in the 1996 World Series Game 5 pitching duel against John Smoltz. Winning 1-0 giving the Yankees a critical 3-2 lead in the series. Plus at least he was honest about the HGH. Enjoy your retirement Andy, and give your wife the hard one as much as possible, and maybe see you on the rebound, Champ.

Yankees News and Tuesday Tits & Ass

With everything going on lately haven't posted about the Yanks. Once again the Yankees whip the sorry Twinkies. Swept their asses.

Yesterday Minka Kelly was named sexiest babe by some magazine, and Derek is tapping that shit. Fucking kid, another one to his stable of unreal hoes. The guy should chill with Robosaco one of these days. Derek and the Yanks are going all the way again this fall. Champs.

On the Fantasy Football front, even though the Vikes lost the game against the Jets, Brett Favre came through with 3 TDs and brought the Weedmen to victory, now 3-2. Robotmen also win their first game, now 1-4.

They are all Champions.

AROD #600

The Bronx bomber hit his 600th against Shaun Marcum of the Toronto Blue Jays in the first inning of Wednesday's game into the center field of Yankee Stadium - and into history. Seems as though A-Rod didn't waste any time blasting his 600th homer.

RIP George Steinbrenner & Bob Sheppard

George Steinbrenner, the owner of the New York Yankees, whose pugnacious leadership restored the glory of baseball's most storied franchise, helped secure seven World Series titles and made the Yankees the first billion-dollar baseball franchise, died Tuesday at a hospital in Tampa after a heart attack. Mr. Steinbrenner, who turned 80 on July 4, had been in failing health for several years and had turned day-to-day management of the team over to his sons.

Many hated him, many loved him. Personally, I think I will see him in Hell.

Cheater Tuesday

As no surprise to anyone Mark McGwire has admitted he used steroids for 10 years including the year he broke the homerun record. His wife does have nice tits though, but you have to assume they are fake just like him. The only reason he even said anything is because he now is the Cardinals batting coach and he knows the press won't leave him alone until he did. He now joins Sammy Sosa, Barry Bonds, and the rest of the liars. Hopefully none of them ever make it to the Hall of Fame. Here at Robotman we recognize Roger Maris as the holding the home run record, with great honor to Babe Ruth as the only juice he needed was with his gin.

Goodbye Godzilla

Yankee hero, Hideki Matsui has agreed to a one year deal with the LA Angels, ending his 7 year Yankee career. In his final year with the Yankees, the 35-year-old battled through knee issues to hit .274 with 28 homers and 90 RBIs.

A national hero in his native Japan, Matsui saved his best for last. In his final game in pinstripes, Matsui turned in one of the greatest performances in World Series history, tying a record with six RBIs to lift the Yankees past the Phillies in the clinching Game 6. The epitome of class and grace, Matsui hit 140 homers in seven seasons in the Bronx, providing a powerful left-handed bat that when healthy solidified the middle of the Yankees' lineup. King of the City

What more can be said, this guy is a legend in his own time. Captain Clutch. In 2009 he batted .334 while leading the Yankees to their fifth World Series title in his 14 full seasons, their first since 2000 and their record 27th in franchise history. On Sept. 11 he passed Lou Gehrig's franchise mark for base hits, which now stands at 2,747. In 15 postseason games Jeter lived up to his reputation as a clutch player, batting .344 with a .432 on-base percentage, three home runs and six RBIs. He batted .407 in the World Series to lead the Yankees to a six-game victory over the defending world champion Philadelphia Phillies.

Once again congrats to Derek Jeter for being named SIs Sportsman of the Year (imagine they would have given it to Tiger this year, hehe), who is also in the Robotman Hall of Fame for the stable of babes he has tapped. Sorry for the late post, huge sports day. My Giants got their ass whipped in Philly today, the Robotmen are down to a tough MNF miracle from Jeremy Shockey. Sorry for the late post today, the weekend flew by and posting at work is not the easiest. This week I want to thank Kate Hudson and make her Babe of the Week for giving her fine ass to Arod, and helping him get hits in October. Class Act

Congratulations to Derek Jeter for becoming the All-Time NY Yankee hit leader. Last night he passed the legendary Iron Horse, Lou Gehrig in the 3rd inning with hit number 2,722. I couldn't imagine a better fit, Jeter is the Yankees' Captain, has four World Series rings, is a World Series MVP and 1996 Rookie of the Year. It has been awesome to watch his career, just a consumate professional. I believe he will be a lifetime Yankee and Hall of Famer.

In addition to his incredible baseball acheivements, I congratulate Derek for all the fine ass he has tapped. He is currently banging TV star Minka Kelly, and has a laundry list like no one else, including Mariah Carey, Jessica Biel, Scarlett Johansson, Gabrielle Union, Jessica Alba and Vanessa Minnilo, to name a few.

Last night Alex Rodriguez passed the great Reggie Jackson on the all time homerun list. Reggie is now # 12, but if you remove steriod users he is #7. Instead of celebrating Arod, let's celebrate Reggie who did it all with attitude and muscle. Above pic are his 3 back to back homeruns in the 1977 World Series game 6 vs the Dodgers. A huge fan, I met him a few years ago at a company event and he sat at our table and bullshitted with us for like 15 minutes after signing a bunch of stuff. Very cool guy. The Babe Retires

On May 25, at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh, playing for the Boston Braves, barely able to run the bases, Babe Ruth went 4-for-4, drove in 6 runs and hit 3 home runs in an 11–7 loss to the Pirates. These were the last three home runs of his career. His last home run cleared the roof at the old Forbes Field—he became the first player to accomplish that feat. His last Herculean act. Five days later, in Philadelphia, Ruth played in his last Major League game. He struck out in the first inning and, while playing the field in the same inning, hurt his knee and left the game.

One June 2nd, Ruth announced his retirement to reporters at his locker. No one has even come close since.
