I recently saw a rerun of a Star Trek: Enterprise episode with this super hot Orion Slave Girl and it reminded me of 2 things, Eddie Murphy's joke about them and the following song. Cliff was the man.
Sorry for no recent updates, I've playing been playing Star Trek Online and that has been taking much of my very rare time to myself. If you play and you see my ship around, give me a hail.
As usual Purple Lips has been killing me slowly, but the only vote I am interested in this November is the Sweet Leaf on the California ballot. So Sacopapa and the rest of my West Coast brethren, Smoke the Vote (*trademark pending).
I watched "V" in the early 80's and now checking out the new version. Pretty cool and has a bunch of actors from Battlestar Galactica and Firefly including the chick that played the space whore in Firefly, Brazilian Morena Baccarin (above) as the leader of the V. Now thats some alien ass I'd love to tap. Speaking of hot alien babes, check out this Star Trek Orion Slave Girl Montage put together by some dedicated super-geek.
Take me through the centuries to supersonic years Electrifying enemy is drowning in his tears All I have to give you is a love that never dies The symptom of the universe is written in your eyes
After the Born Again album in 1984, only Tony Iommi was left in the band and he released the Seventh Star LP. Glenn Hughes does a great job on this ballad, "No Stranger To Love". Coincidentally, the video has Denise Crosby (above pic) in it, who later appeared on early seasons of Star Trek TNG, in the classic episode "The Naked Now", she wants to fuck Data, who is a stranger to love.
Finishing off Star Trek week, who can forget the Star Trek animated series from the 70's. Continuing the 5-year mission. The whole Series is out on DVD plus You Tube has tons of shit..here is the intro.
Continuing on my Trek theme, the delicious Jolene Blalock, T'Pol from the Enterprise TV Series. Below getting a massage form Trip. For more Trek Babes click here.
Today I saw the new Star Trek Movie, in this post I will give my overall thoughts on the movie itself without giving away any spoilers. I am a fan of the entire franchise (5 TV series and 10 movies), but my favorite by far is The Original Series.
First let me say that JJ Abrams did a fantastic job in revitalizing the franchise. The movie itself has a great story, a great villain, and of course the old characters that both casual fans and Trekkies love. The opening sequence is amazing and sets the tone for new Trek. I think the movie was fantastic, I will buy the Blu-ray, go to all the sequels.
Leonard Nimoy’s participation is key in both bridging the story and bring legitimacy to the movie with the more hardcore fans. I cannot say more to this without spoilers. In the dialogue there are many references that will be lost on the casual fan but are gold nuggets to the more hardcore fans. The actors and the writing for each character really made it feel a kinship to the original characters. The story itself is well written and clear, with great action and character development.
So basically I give it 4.5 stars as a SciFi fan and 4 Stars as a Trekkie.
One of my favorites as a kid. The super hot Yvonne Craig. As Marta, the Orion Slave Girl from Classic Trek above, and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl from the old Batman TV series below.
Born today, James Doohan, 1920-2005, aka Montgomery Scott, "Scottie" on the original Star Trek Series. The miracle worker. Here is a nice tribute a fan put together.
Deep Space Nine had a great episode, Trials and Tribble-ations, where they returned in time to events of the original Trouble with the Tribbles episode. Here is a great scene with the late great James Doohan, AKA "Scotty".
I'm a huge Original Series Trek fan, so let me start out with a classic. Spock has to battle Kirk over a chick for odd reasons. Amok Time. The battle scene. Awesome, bad stand-ins at all. I say Deforrest deserved an Emmy for his part.
