Today in 1974 Richard Nixon resigned as President of the USA. His administration foolishly got caught doing what they all do. But really, he wasn't bad as prez and did end the Kennedy/Johnson Vietnam War and made true progress with China. This also lead to the eventual Carter presidency which is widely considered one of the worst in history. It also led to Ford falling of the airplane steps.
